The Decision is Made

Preacher Fred heard from the doctor yesterday.  His recommendation is to remove Fred's knee and replace it with a new one that is partially made of cement.  Normally, this type of knee replacement is temporary.  Although the doctor said if Fred does well, then it could last for years.  The lab is still trying to figure out which combination of antibiotics Preacher Fred will need to cure this infection.  They are hopeful that they will have an answer by Tuesday.  If so, Preacher Fred will have his surgery on Thursday.  Preacher Fred and Patsy are happy with these results because now he will not have to go without a knee.  The family wants to thank everyone for their prayers.  They feel like prayers are being answered.

  3. I was so glad to read that Preacher Fred has an alternative in regards to his knee. I'm praying daily and I am so thankful things are looking up. A cement knee can't keep a good man down. And of course behind every good man is his wife... I love you both dearly. Praying for you daily and know that the infection will be cleared up in no time. Keep your heads up and know that better days are ahead
